Rules for Uploading Voter List
To ensure smooth processing and accurate voter registration, please adhere to the following rules when uploading your voter list.
To ensure a seamless experience, it is crucial to follow the specified guidelines for uploading voter lists. These rules help maintain the integrity and accuracy of your polls. Please review the instructions below carefully before proceeding.
Rule 1: User ID - Mobile Number
- The number should be a valid INDIAN mobile number.
- The number must be 12 digits long, starting with "91".
- No spaces, characters, or alphabets are allowed.
- Each voter must have only one unique mobile number.
Rule 2: User ID - Email ID
- Each user must have a unique email ID.
- Email ID must contain exactly one "@" sign and at least one dot (.) after "@".
- No spaces or invalid special characters (e.g., , < > :) are allowed.
- Email ID should consist only of alphabets, numbers, and these characters: @, ., _.
Rule 3: Weightage
- Applicable for weighted votes or shareholder polls only.
- Weightage must be a whole number greater than zero.
- No decimals, percentages, or special characters are allowed.
- Ensure consistency by converting weightage to whole numbers, e.g., multiply by 1000.
Rule 4: Unique ID
- Applicable only for "Multiple Voting - Limited" polls.
- Each voter must have a unique ID; duplicates are not allowed.
- Unique IDs may include alphabets, numbers, and spaces.
- Special characters are not allowed, except for - (hyphen).
